Marie-Emmanuelle writes, directs, and produces character-driven stories about intergenerational and intercultural relationships. A Berlinale Talents alumna, she won the Canon Competition with her film WRITER'S BLOCK and RIIF First Prize Directorial Discovery with AFTER ELLA. She is twice a finalist at the Women in Film International Shortcase and was selected in the "10 Filmmakers to Watch in 2014" by The Independent Magazine. Her productions include the Venice International Film Festival selected PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY for which she was co-nominated for a WGA Award. She is a Sundance Lab finalist and a Screencraft and Page Awards semi-finalist. Marie-Emmanuelle graduated from la Sorbonne and Harvard University. She teaches screenwriting at Emerson College.
