Mark Micheli is a writer, journalist, and an online media pioneer who tells stories using text, photos, videos, and various online tools.
He was a newspaper reporter and managing editor before making the leap online in 1995 at an experimental division of AT&T. There he helped create what is sometimes referred to as the first group blog. Since then, he worked at several cutting-edge start-up companies and led a team to build one of the first healthcare websites. He later worked as a reporter at the Boston Business Journal before becoming news editor of Boston.com where he directed a staff of producers to cover some of the biggest news stories in New England and the nation.
He is co-founder of Reel Partners Media where he creates short-form videos for businesses and non-profits. He most recently oversaw the redesign of the Journalism Students Online News Service (JSONS) at Emerson College where he teaches multimedia classes in the journalism department.
