Matthew Regan, MMH is the Director of Advancement Events at Emerson College in Boston, where he leads a diverse portfolio of events that support the college's advancement, fundraising, and donor engagement efforts. With a strong foundation in hospitality, Matthew brings a unique perspective to the world of event management. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Security Assurance Studies from Roger Williams University in 2016 and later pursued a Master of Management in Hospitality from the Boston University School of Hospitality Administration.
In addition to his role at Emerson College, Matthew is deeply involved in the event industry through leadership positions with professional organizations. He serves as the President-Elect of the Boston chapter of the International Live Events Association (ILEA) and contributes his expertise to the Advisory Council for the Academic Event Professional Conference and Fellowship program.
Matthew's passion for event planning began during his time at Roger Williams University, where he worked with the Office of Admissions and the Office of Events and Conferences. It was here that he discovered his love for bringing people together around a shared purposeāa passion that has shaped his career in the events industry. He is committed to creating meaningful, polished events that leave a lasting impression on diverse audiences.
Specializing in higher education events, Matthew is dedicated to implementing effective planning processes and best practices that ensure every event delivers a seamless and engaging experience. He is also focused on leveraging events to strengthen brand identity and foster community engagement.
