Peter Horgan is a screenwriter, director and producer of independent films and music videos.
Peter Horgan is a screenwriter, director and producer, with a focus primarily in the crime genre. Born and raised in Massachusetts, he moved to Los Angeles and from there to Athens, Greece before returning back to his home state in 2017. Since returning, he's directed short films that have screened at festivals such as IFFBoston, Provincetown, Woods Hole, and Cinekink. Horgan has also collaborated with a handful of Boston rappers, directing and producing music videos. Most recently, he wrote, directed and produced his first feature film, HOW TO ROB, which premiered at IFFBoston and won the Audience Award for Narrative Feature. The film is set to be released in early 2023.
At Emerson, he will be teaching Writing the Feature Film.
