Scott Loring Sanders is the author of two novels, The Hanging Woods and Gray Baby, a short story collection Shooting Creek, and an essay collection Surviving Jersey: Danger & Insanity in the Garden State. He has had work included and/or noted in Best American Mystery Stories, Best American Essays, and the Pushcart Prize. He has been a fellow at the Camargo Foundation in Cassis, France, at the Edward F. Albee Foundation in Montauk, NY, and at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. He teaches at Emerson College and Lesley University.
