The Digital Post-Production is located on the 7th and 8th floors of the Ansin building, 180 Tremont Street.
DPL facilities are open to all Visual & Media Arts students in the post-production phase of their projects. The DPL helps students thoroughly understand the post-production process by offering professional, up-to-date hardware and software, with a professionally-trained staff and student assistants to help with any workflow or technical issues.

DPL1 is located on the 8th floor of Ansin. This 16-workstation Digital Production Laboratory features Mac Pros connected to Emerson's high-speed Isilon server. Resources include:

DPL2 is located on the 7th floor of Ansin. This 18-workstation Digital Production Laboratory features iMacs dedicated to the first Digital Production course (VM 120) and connected to Emerson’s high-speed network Isilon server. Resources include:

Video Editing Lab (VEL) | Ansin 803
The VEL is located on the 8th floor of Ansin. The Video Editing Laboratory is a 13-workstation lab with iMacs dedicated to supporting Intro and Advanced level Editing courses. All workstations are connected to Emerson’s high-speed network Isilon server. Resources include:

Our post-production suites are equipped with the latest Mac Pros and dual monitors, available to advanced undergraduate students and graduate students for longer-length, upper-level projects. All suites are connected to Emerson’s high-speed network Isilon server. Resources include:
