Care Out Loud
At Emerson, everything is done with enthusiasm and passion. This passion is seen in the way we work, the way we create, and the way we care. At Emerson, care is more than just a feeling of empathy, it’s putting your care into action. It’s looking out for one another to make sure nobody struggles alone. It’s listening to all concerns, from the smallest issues to larger challenges.

Emerson Counseling and Psychological Services (ECAPS) Resources
There are a variety of situations that can be considered an emergency or crisis. If you or someone else is having thoughts of suicide, impulses to hurt yourself or another person, severe confusion or disorientation, or if you have just experienced violence or assault, contact emergency services immediately. References to suicide should always be taken seriously and immediate responses are critical. Emerson Counseling and Psychological Services (ECAPS) offers the information and services for when you or a friend are in crisis, including what to do in an emergency, local and national hotlines and for "not exactly an emergency but still upset" strategies.
