Activities & Organizations

Whether you want to dance; try your hand at improv comedy; direct short films; write for the student newspaper, check out fraternity and sorority life; or join the Polling Society, a sports team, or a multicultural club, there is something for you at Emerson College. Student organizations give you the chance to lead and pursue daring ideas through sponsoring events, producing shows, managing publications, and more.

Emerson’s campuses are a hub of creative energy, thanks to our many student-driven activities, events, and organizations. Although student orgs are based in Boston, students studying in Los Angeles and at Kasteel Well are sometimes able to continue their participation virtually. Castle students have the opportunity to produce a literary magazine, Black Swan, each semester.

Collaboration is at the heart of life at Emerson. Across our classrooms, meeting spaces, practice rooms, theaters, and facilities, our students come together to produce incredible projects that create change in our communities and society.
